1. First thoughts of the day

The alarm clock goes off in the morning, time to wake up, what is your first thought? Already? Wait! Ten more minutes. Why?! These types of reactions immediately sets the tone for the day. If you begin your day with a negative thought you will carry it throughout the day. It's similar to packing weights on yourself, which in return you have to pull. Do you need the excess weight? Can you proceed without it? Begin changing this by saying something positive to start the day. For instance: "Another day to conquer" or "Let's get ready to make this the best day". Be creative and make your own but keep in mind that it is the consistency of the implementation that will create a change. Different thoughts may enter the mind but continue, and eventually positive thoughts after waking will begin to come with ease.

2. Getting out of bed

You said the positive thought, now you actually have to get out of bed but you really don't want to. The body was in a resting position for a while and was in a comfort zone. We have to move the body a bit to get it into motion. Begin this by stretching out your arms above your head and extend the legs while lying down. Similar to a dog or cat who immediately after waking up stretches out their limbs. The animals incorporated this instinctively. After the quick stretch, proceed and take a deep breath and let's go!

3. Water

Now we proceed to the kitchen and pour a glass of water at room temperature. You can even put a slice of lemon or squeeze the juices from half a lemon into the water. Hold the cup and repeat an affirmation for instance, "Thank you for this day". As said by Dr. Emoto, you can change the structure of the water by the frequency of words. To begin the day with this type of water, where the body is cleansed with structured water is intense. This is what we can call the proper breakfast due to the breakdown of the word: break - fast. While the body is sleeping, the internal organs resting where the metabolism is slowed and we can say the body is fasting. When we drink water in the morning, we are breaking the fast hence breakfast. Coffee at the break of the fast is too much of a jump start, similar to a shock. It is optimum to refresh the internal body with an universal neutral substance, such as water. The body itself is thankful for this approach.

4. Wash down

The following step is a wash down. We can accomplish this by either taking a shower or simply washing the hands and face, this takes on a refreshing role. And it is considered a cleansing of the outer body. Symbolically, we are washing off the remnants of yesterday and welcoming today. So, we have completed an internal cleansing and now an external cleansing.

5. Meditation

Many people ask, why do we meditate? Through meditation we can get peace. We are constantly under attack by negative forces such as jealousy, fear, anger, doubt, anxiety, worry and despair. They work as a nuisance just as a fly does. After a while, the fly rests and this is when you have your peace. Eventually the fly will come again and your peace is over.

Through meditation we can get the lasting peace. Meditation can be implemented utilizing time as you seem fit. If you are a beginner you can use two minutes, while a more advanced individual in meditation can utilize more time. Just two minutes of soulful meditation will permeate peace for the entirety of the day. Calming the mind makes the mind more focused. The more focused you are, the daily production level increases. There are many types of meditation. If you are a novice, you can repeat a mantra or even focus on your breathing for two minutes, that's it. A simple example is as follows: when you breathe in, repeat something positive such as peace or joy. And when you breathe out, repeat something negative such as anger or fear. Utilize any words you feel suits you better. If any side thoughts enter your mind, just focus on the words you are repeating. It takes practice, just as any art would. The more consistent you are, the better the results.

6. Exercise

Exercise has a high level of importance for the physical body. It permeates through the physical, emotional, mental to the spiritual. Just five minutes daily can trigger an astounding effect. In the morning is optimum due to the raising of the metabolism throughout the whole day. You can do stretching, any combination of body movements, yoga, anything will suffice. Push-ups, sit-ups, squats, there are a multitude of home exercises that one can choose from. Perceive the body as a temple, where one has to consistently take care of it for it to endure the physical nature of life.

7. Full embracement

For us to fully embrace this positive momentum, it is optimum to incorporate three affirmations. It is also important for us to utilize this technique correctly. Many individuals are implementing the technique of positive thinking, but many are using it incorrectly. Affirmations are words that we say to ourselves, for instance, "I am healthy". What do we observe here? One person says it due to being healthy, while the other says it wanting to achieve health( coughing while repeating "I am healthy"). If an individual repeats an affirmation which the conscious mind knows is untrue, it will impede upon the realization of it due to the doubt that is built. The basic premise of affirmations are to attract experiences in life through thoughts. However, the level of truth in each affirmation plays a vital role here. For instance, one can repeat "the more I take care of myself, the healthier I become". This is a believable statement for the mind. Another example is: "the more quality time I put into my work, the wealthier I become" as opposed to "I am rich". Of course we can change each affirmation in any fashion you feel fit, be creative about it. Additional examples include: 1."I accept perfect health now". 2. "I can make positive changes in my life, I can do it". 3. "Thoughts of this moment create my future". 4. "The past is over, I have the power of the now". 5. "I am open to the abundance of the universe". 6. "I am a clear thinker and express myself with ease". 7."I have unlimited potential". 8. "I let go of fear and doubt and create life easily". 9. "I chose to feel good about myself". You can change them to your liking but, your belief system has to be consistent.

Do these seven steps daily and you will open the doors to a positive daily approach. And, to solidify it even further, you can prepare yourself before sleep. When you lie down, recap your day, focus on what you would change and close it by saying three affirmations. The results are astounding. We are here to develop ourselves so have fun!
